Who I am
Connor Miller is the founder of FreightScout, freight brokerage software that runs the load from first call to invoice. Before FreightScout, he spent twelve years on freight brokerage operations floors and helped scale a freight brokerage agency into nine figures in annual revenue.
I did not come to freight technology from software. I came to it from the operations floor: prospecting shippers, pricing lanes, covering loads, working carriers, and watching where margin actually leaks. Every workflow in FreightScout exists because I ran it by hand first, or managed the person who did.
FreightScout won both awards at the 2026 Jacksonville Venture Competition, and I am a Marquis Who's Who Honored Listee for 2026. I talk publicly about freight brokerage operations, AI agents in logistics, and how brokerages protect margin in a down market.
What has happened lately
FreightScout took the judges' award and the crowd favorite award at the Jacksonville Venture Competition on August 19, 2026. The competition is hosted by Chang Robotics, and the panel included Jim Stallings of PS27 Ventures, Dr. Charles Bruce of Mayo Clinic, Forrest Hayes of the Chang Robotics Fund, Summer Vyne of Anuvision Technologies and Randall Thomas of The Link. As the winner, FreightScout is now entering due diligence for investment from the Chang Robotics Fund.
